One.Product Description
   The four-ball tribometer is used to determine the friction and wear properties of lubricant, including oil and grease, under varying load conditions. It accurately assesses the load-bearing capacity of lubricants through several key metrics: maximum non-seizure load (Pb), sintering load (Pd), and comprehensive wear value (ZMZ). This machine allows for long-term wear tests without compromising the precision of the Pb measurement, even after multiple Pd tests. It can also measure the coefficient of friction while recording friction force and temperature curves. For enhanced precision, the system can be equipped with high-accuracy measuring devices to calculate and display wear scar diameters on-screen. With specialized attachments, these friction and wear testing machines can perform end-face wear tests and simulate material behavior under specific conditions.

    SGW-10 computer control automatic four-ball friction testing machine, in the form of slide friction, is used for the loading capacity evaluation of lubricants in the high pressure point contact condition. It can test the maximum nonseizure load PB, sintered load PD and composite wear value ZMZ of lubricants.The four-ball friction test machine can also be used as lubricant for long time wear resistance test, determination of friction coefficient, recording friction and temperature curve. It also can measure the dimension of the wear scar and display,measurement and recording the wear scar on the PC screen.The wear resistance of metallic materials or non-metallic materials can also be studied with special attachments.
